WORKSHOPS

Collegiate Gateway provides a variety of hands-on, interactive workshops to help participants improve on a wide range of skills and complete crucial components of their applications. From perfecting application forms to mastering the interview, we’ll work together to help you put your best foot forward. Please note that spaces are limited to allow for more personalized attention.

In this workshop, rising seniors complete their Common Application in just two hours with immediate, personalized feedback. We provide all the tips and guidance you’ll need to power through your application and feel confident in the final product. These workshops are held weekly in August and are a perfect chance to get a head start before school begins in the fall!

The graduate school application process can seem complicated, with so many different types of programs and application requirements. We offer tailored workshops to teach students the nuts and bolts of each of the most common platforms, including: AMCAS, AACOMAS, LSAC, GradCAS, and PSYCAS.

We provide targeted workshops to help participants excel in every type of interview, including: college, grad school, med school (traditional and MMI), research positions, internships, and employment. We’ll teach you how to prepare for the interview and eliminate stress, so that you can communicate your strengths and competitive advantages with confidence.

A great resume is much more than just a list of experience and accomplishments – it’s a compelling narrative that connects with the reader and convinces them of the unique value you can bring to their university or organization. In this workshop, we teach you how to craft your story and experience into the perfect resume for applications, internships, or employment.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is a powerful diagnostic tool to increase your understanding of the unique ways in which you process and relate to the world around you. As a Master Practitioner of the assessment, Julie Raynor Gross is specially certified to administer and interpret the results. In this workshop, we will provide an overview of the MBTI® and how your results can help you dramatically improve your organizational skills, productivity, and academic and professional effectiveness. The workshop includes the advanced MBTI Step II assessment and in-depth report, which is only available through a Certified Practitioner.
